No entiendo el último paso, hago todo pero al final no sé que hacer y me da un error, edito el archivo con el bloc de notas, pero hay una línea que contiene el nombre de Carlo, eso así se queda? Además, copió la licencia editada a una carpeta en Filesx86 donde hay un ejecutable SLBLicensing y cuando lo ejecuto no sé qué hacer, según yo tengo que seleccionar "Add license file" y seleccionar el archivo editado pero da un error, una exepción no controlada o algo así dice, qué tengo que hacer, por que es allí donde me pierdo
ReplyDeleteEl archivo de licencia donde dice "Carlo-PC" debes cambiarlos por el "nombre de tu PC o laptop". Intenta con eso y avisa si te sigue dando problemas. Saludos
DeleteSigue habiendo errores, esta vez corregí el nombre con el de mi PC, corregí una dirección que tenía hacia la carpeta donde se encuentra la licencia, corregí también el "Hostid" y por fin pudo correr SLBLicensing pero luego me arrojaba otro error "no se puede detener el servicio schlumberger licencing server en el equipo" y allí ya no supe qué hacer

DeleteEstos son los pasos (en inglés) para instalar
1- Install PetroMod v2012.2 (64 Bits) [Run Setup.exe]
2- Install Schlumberger Licensing 2012
3- Apply patch [Run as administrator petromod2012.2-patch.exe]
4- Edit first line in the applied license file [license.lic]
hostname -> YourPCname; any -> yor LAN MAC address
e.g. SERVER hostname any -> SERVER MyPC 0012bc23eb12
5- Move above edited license.lic to the folder:
C:\\Schlumberger\Schlumberger Licensing\flex118\
6- Run SLBLicensing.exe and select copied license file to start license server.
7- Run PetroMod v2012.2

Creo que el problema viene del archivo a editar, no sé realmente cómo tiene que quedar después de editarlo. Cuando corre SLCLicensing me siguen dando errores cuando comienza.
DeleteEn ese caso, supongamos que tu computadora se llama "COMPUTADORA DE RA" y que la dirección MAC de tu tarjeta de Red LAN es 1234ab56cd78. Entonces, vas a cambiar hostname por "COMPUTADORA DE RA" (sin las comillas), any por 1234ab56cd78 (tu MAC de ejemplo) y luego guardas el archivo de licencia .lic con estas modificaciones. La palabra SERVER se deja igual, no se toca.

Deletepara ver el nombre de tu computadora, vas a Mi PC y das click derecho, luego click en propiedades, se abre una ventana donde ves información de tu computadora, tal como versión de Windows, procesador, memoria RAM, etc. En las últimas líneas de información veras nombre de tu computadora, nombre de la red de trabajo (si la tienes) y otros datos más.
Respecto al mensaje que te arroja PetroMOD, debes crear un directorio para tus proyectos, básicamente una carpeta donde se guardará todo lo relativo a tus datos de trabajo. Cuando inicias PetroMOD en la esquina inferior izquierda hay un botón que dice Projet Dir:, das click ahí y sigues los 2 pasos más y creas tu directorio.

DeleteWhen you apply the patch, some files in the PetroMOD software are modified to allow you full access to all features without any restriction. This patch software was designed to access the following path and modify the files:
C:\Program Files\Schlumberger\PetroMod 2012.2\WIN64\bin\
If you PetroMOD software was not installed is this path, probably you'll get a message from Windows saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access the item".
Please, check the path of you PetroMOD installation and tell me if is the same path listed above.

DeleteSincerely, is the first time that I see a problem like this when a patch is applied. I think probably could be caused by compatibility issue or some kind of administrative permision that Windows 8 denies. I have PetroMOD installed, but i use Windows 7 (64 Bits).
If you have the option Troubleshoot Compability in your menu when you try to execute the patch, please do it and tell me if it works.

DeleteThank you very much, the issue was my Antivirus, so it needs to be deactivated. but I have another issue. Once, I selected the license, and click on start, it gives me an error like : Service failed to start.

Try this steps:
DeleteThe License Server service is not started?
In order to successfully install and distribute team licenses, the license server service must be started. To verify that the license server is started, follow the steps below:
1. From your windows task bar, select Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
2. In the Services window, search through the list of services and locate Schlumberger License Server. Note: If you cannot find this service please install the license service following the steps in the previous section.
3. Look under the Status column. If the status is set to “Started”, then the service should be running. If the status is not set to “Started”, then you must manually start the service.
4. Right-click on the Schlumberger License Server and select Start from the pop-up menu. After this, the status should change to Started.
Let me know if this solution works for you.

DeleteIf you want, let me know your e-mail to talk about your issue. I tried to install PetroMOD 2012 in a Windows 10 system and I get the same problem, but not in Windows 7. I think this is a problem with Windows 8 /8.1 and 10 versions. Perhaps use a most recent SLB licensing version could fix the problem.

DeleteYou computer name -> click My Pc -> properties. You'll see your PC Name
Your LAN MAC Address -> run cmd and type ipconfig /all. You will see all your networks cards, note your LAN (Ethernet) card physical address, that's your MAC address

DeleteQué Windows usas? Si es Windows 10 probablemente no podrás activar el Schlumberger licensing ya que la versión 2012 de este no sirve en Windows 10, petromod si pero licensing no.

I use windows 10 and I made exception for "slbsls.exe"at my antivirus and firewal. Still SLBLicensing gives error: "The process couldn't start" and Sclomberger Licensing does not appear at the Services?

DeleteThe issue here seems to be something related with Slb licensing, somebody solved it using a Slb licensing more recent (2015). This is the unique solution i know for now until a newest petromod available for free.

Hola buenos días, quisiera saber si hay alguna restricción o si algo estoy configurando mal, porque no funciona la aplicación para 2 y 3D, de hecho 1Dme abre sin siquiera tener configurada la lic. he hecho varias pruebas, corrí el pach aparentemente bien pero aun nada cambia, tengo windows 10.

Hola, según comentarios de otras personas, esta versión de petromod no funciona bien desde Windows 8 en adelante. Cuando tuve la oportunidad de probarlo, fue con Windows 7 Pro y me funcionó bien.
