    Buenas tardes, no he podido activar la licencia del programa, y al intentar realizar el ultimo paso no se encuentra el archivo Geosoft.geosoft.license en la carpeta user/lic, que podría hacer al respecto.

      Hola, debes instalarlo, seguir los pasos, pero el paso de la actualización lo dejas de último, así no te dará problemas.

      Check your hidden folders, the software probably was installed in the "Program Data" folder.

      I don´t have the Program Data folder inside the geosoft folder. I already made the computer show the hidden folders and nothing

      Hi Mariana

      Basically, every software you install in your PC will be installed in any of this three folders, Program Files(x86), Programas Files or Program Data. Only in few cases the software to install will create a folder in the root of your hard drive (it means C:\ drive).

      If you installed the software correctly, the geosoft folder must exists, but you need to follow every step of the installation instructions to create a license file, but caution, don't install the update after install the software, the update must be the last step (there's a error in the instructions file about this)

    I have the geosoft folder in Program Files(x86), the problem is that I don´t have any files in here - C:\Program Files (x86)\Geosoft\user\lic.

    It´s already working, I only have one more question. What do I do first the check the registry and set entry values to 1, or the update instalation?

      Perhaps i've some gravimetric data, but not magnetic. What another kind of data do you need? Unfortunately, i don't have a manual for this software.

      Hi

      I understand that the ads can be anoying, but since anybody is donating nothing to the blog, the ads help to pay the MEGA.NZ hosting. You only need follow the steps as describesd in "How To Download" and close the ads, but never the shortener page, this will redirect you tu MEGA.nz finally.

    hai Carlo,
    There are no *.geosoft_license and *.geosoft_lm in my \lic folder once I've installed the software, what happens in there?
    I tried to continue the installation process until the end but couldn't do the update as I don't have valid license.

      Hi,

      Did you follow this steps:

      Windows 10 (for certain) and Windows 8 (may be) don't let the *.bat files running
      You've to use the command prompt to execute zzz.exe

      Disable all connections and read lavteam.nfo before you've started to install OM

      1. Install 8.3
      2. Regedit
      3. Repair
      4. Copy all zzz files to the install directory
      5. Type in command prompt C:\Program Files (x86)\Geosoft\bin\zzz.exe /install=zzz.geosoft_license
      6. Update

      Profit

      UP: Or you may change the zzz.bat extension to .cmd - Win10 allow to run *.cmd files

    hola, no he podido instalar las lisencias con el archivo zzz.bat, ni corriendolo en consola de comandos, me aparece zzz.exe no se reconoce como comando interno o externo,
    no se me instalan las licensias, alguna ayuda?

    Hola Carlo, no he podido instalar. Parece ser que no hay compatibilidad del oasis v8 con windows 10 actualizado original. Lo leí en un foro de Microsoft. Si sabes de alguna solución estaré pendiente.
    Al instalar, se queda en blanco. Con los firewall y antivirus desactivados.

    Hai Carlo, I couldn't run magnetic inversion because connection between oasis montaj with geosoft isn't established. would it be safe for this version to connect to geosoft? how am I gonna connect this version with geosoft?

    Gratíssimo pela disponibilidade do pacote... Ainda assim, tentei de várias maneiras habilitar a extensão do ArcGis e não tive sucesso... no mais, tudo funciona (até onde já usei)

    Thanks bro carlo, it worked (windows 11), actually i follow and adjust your instructions:
    1. Install 8.3
    2. Regedit
    3. Repair
    4. Copy all zzz files to the install directory
    5. Type in command prompt C:\Program Files (x86)\Geosoft\bin\zzz.exe /install=zzz.geosoft_license (this step was not working in my laptop , so i change file zzz.geosoft_license became OasisMontaj.geosoft_license in bin folder and double click)
    6. Update
